Greetings! This is my site dedicated to all the sweet, sweet, goodness that I unearth from the various branches of the Nashville Public Library. Whether it’s books, CDs, movies, or magazines, it’s all good and all gratis.
Absurdistan’s central character, Misha Vainberg, son of the 1,234th richest man in Russia, reminds me of Confederacy of Dunces’s eccentric Ignatius J. Reilly, but with a Russian flare, and Central Asian backdrop. I enjoyed it (of course, that’s why I’m sharin’ the love). Any writer who references the song Ass and Titties and still comes off intelligent is OK by me.
